Hi, I'm Alexis.
I am Salon Lucent's co-founder and Master Stylist.
I attended Aveda Institute in 2014 where I expanded my passion for creativity and love for making people feel confident!
After only 3 years behind the chair I became an owner of my very first Salon. There I broadened my knowledge, taking any class available to me and focused on perfecting my craft. Although I will always be fond and appreciative of my roots with my initial education and years working with Aveda, diversity was always important to me and I'm grateful for the time I spent learning many other lines, cultures, and techniques. Being a stylist has always fulfilled me but I found myself wanting a team... or what we call our Salon Lucent family.
We started Salon Lucent in the midst of 2020 and truly intend to reflect on that positively. Although it was difficult and we weren't fully open until just about the end of that year it was a silver lining of a time my family came together to create something that we have been so proud of. Together we are building a family of eager and skilled stylists to create beautiful hair and confidence!
At Salon Lucent we want your trust on delivering a consistent and positive experience as a team, not just your service provider. Our goal is to make this your new and ending salon home as well.

My name is Caiti and I have had a passion for hair as long as I can remember. I attended college right out of high school and entered the marketing field, but I continued to feel like I was meant to do something else.
When a friend (who happens to be the ever-so-talented Alexis, our salon owner and master stylist) told me I should think about enrolling in cosmetology school, I became consumed with the thought. I then enrolled at Aveda Institute and began my journey into the world of beauty.
I have been with Salon Lucent from the beginning and I have truly found my salon home.
I specialize in lived-in styles such as textured bobs, natural curls, shags, mullets and balayage.
I am well-versed in color theory and appreciate color projects as well (especially fantasy colors - Pulp Riot’s fantasy color line is what dreams are made of).

As a single mom of two, I wanted to provide for my family and pursue a career that would fulfill all of our needs. That is why I chose to attend The Aveda Institute where I was trained in color, cuts, and highlighting. Now, I have leaned into the coloring side of this industry and I specialize in babylights!

As long as I can remember fashion and hair have always been a passion. I spent several years as a high fashion model and knew that getting my hair done always made me feel great! I attended college where I quickly realized I was meant for something else! I wanted to be the person that made people feel and look amazing!

My family and I moved to the Sunshine State in July 2022 from Rochester, New York in hopes of pursuing our lifelong dreams.
Since I was a little girl, behind the chair is where I knew I was meant to be. My mom used to take me to the salon she worked at; I would watch and admire the stylists work. I knew that I wanted to make people feel and look beautiful like they did there!
I went to cosmetology school while I was attending high school and graduated at the top of my class, falling more in love doing hair! Shortly after, I graduated from college with an associate’s degree in business. While in New York, I worked full-time at a Brow Studio where I also found a love for sculpting brows and doing lashes!

I’ve been with Salon Lucent since 2021 and am so excited to finally be behind the chair.
Everything about this salon inspires me and has fueled the underlying passion I’ve always had for hair. I’ve been a part of the beauty industry for seven years and am thrilled to live out my daydream of making the world a more colorful place.
Transformation is at the heart of everything I do - if you’re ready for a change, I’m your girl! From a big chop or new extensions to a lived in blonde or fiery red, I love to do it all. I’m a huge nerd for the science behind healthy hair, which will always be my number one priority during every service.
My absolute favorite thing to do in the whole wide world is vivid hair color! If you’re looking for rainbow hair, mermaid hair, or festival hair, you’re in the right place!
I like to be on the cutting edge and am obsessed with education, which is why I chose to study at the Aveda Institute and become a Dreamcatchers certified extension stylist. I started my secondary education at HCC with a major in bio technical science. However, I knew it wasn’t what I truly wanted to pursue. I enrolled at the Aveda Institute and was able to perfect my true passion: hair!
I've always found myself drawn to the arts, and painting has always been a release to me. That being said, I strongly believe in expressing yourself through whatever medium you choose, please be my muse!

If you’re an existing client, you’ve probably already seen me around. I’ve worked at the front desk here at Salon Lucent for the past year and a half. I’ve always known that hair was my passion. I started learning to braid when I was 6 years old. My aunt was going through cosmetology school, and she had so many mannequin heads laying around. I picked one up and practically never put it down.

Now, I’m a 23-year-old mom to a handsome 1 year old boy. I’m true crime obsessed, and I feel like I know all the nitty gritty details of every major case. I love getting out of the house, and spending time with my little family. I’m a self-proclaimed foodie. I’m always open to new recommendations! I’ve lived in Florida going on ten years, but there’s always something new and exciting to get out there and explore.

I’ve been content for a while just working the front desk, but I knew I owed it to myself and my family to pursue my true passion. I’ve worked so hard to get where I am, putting in countless hours of practice on my amazing boyfriend who has been there for me every step of the way.

I am a baby stylist and have been a licensed cosmetologist since February!
My family and I moved to the Sunshine State in 2016 and this has been home since :)
I graduated from the Aveda Institute in Brandon in early February and have been working alongside stylists here at Salon Lucent since Early September. My love for hair started when I was very young competing in pageants and cheerleading. I have a love for blonding and lived in colors :)
When I’m not doing hair I am spending time with my family or my boyfriend and his family. We go on many different adventures like mudding and riding four wheelers, concerts, to line dancing with the girls, and going to church on Sunday morning.
